On April 11, 13 youths from the state Department of Youth Services met with state leaders, including state Rep. Russell Holmes, who represents a portion of Roslindale, during the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services’ (DYS) 3rd Annual “Statehouse Youth Arts Rally” to highlight the role of arts education in DYS’ curriculum.
