On Wednesday, Oct. 24, Jamaica Plain-based MSPCA hosted their annual Raise the Woof gala in support of the organization’s veterinary, law enforcement, adoption center and advocacy programs. The annual soiree, emceed by WCVB morning anchorman Randy Price, brought together some 400 guests—and dozens of dogs—raising a total of $680,000. Event co-chairs Constance Noble, JP-residents Patrick Planeta & Santiago Varela in addition to vice-chair Lynne Kortenhaus, welcomed a number of notable friends including David Collela, Ben and Tonya Mezrich, Jessica Gifford Nigrelli and Matt Dunphy.
