Tree of Life Fundraiser for JP Police Summer Camp

Every summer, Tree of Life, in association with Boston Police Department E13’s Community Service Youth Officers, organizes a two week camp for underprivileged youth in Jamaica Plain. The program gives some J.P. kids and teens positive experiences, summer fun, and role models that will last for years to come.

It’s more than a summer camp – the program helps the youth develop personal connections with the police and community. The goal has been to educate and teach them not to give up. We give them the confidence to excel in their life endeavors.

In order to successfully continue the programs, and hopefully increase the number of youth enrolled, the goal is to raise $6000 by Friday, May 31.  This funding will provide food, transportation and exciting activities for 30 youth over a two-week period, twice the number of youth served last year.
