On Saturday, August 21, Boston City Councilor Matt O’Malley endorsed Mary Tamer for Boston City Council District 6 outside of the Jamaica Pond Boathouse.  O’Malley announced he would not be seeking re-election late last year, and Tamer is one of three candidates running for his seat.

Mary Tamer is a former Boston School Committee member and past president of the League of Women Voters of Boston.
