JP Centre/South Main Streets supports BIPOC-owned businesses with Uplift JP

     JP Centre/South Main Streets presents Uplift JP – a monthly rally at BIPOC-owned businesses in Jamaica Plain to promote racial equity and justice. Following the success of the March rally at Cada Dia Mini Café, the next Uplift JP event will be at Nickls & Dimes at 668 Centre St. on Saturday, April 23 from 12-2pm. A fashion show will begin at 1pm.

     Nckls & Dimes is an urban clothing company located on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, with a focus on one-of-a-kind affordable attire for fashion-forward people of all ages! Come out to show love for Nckls & Dimes and check out new attire, including original pieces, t-shirts, and hoodies.

     • Fashion show takes over the City Feed & Supply parklet at 1pm.

     • Wine Tasting featuring Montfleur Duvin — Haitian Born, Family Inspired — a local wine company owned by Abner Montfleury, a first generation Haitian-American.

     • Nckls & Dimes owner Brie Pullum will be serving her signature cookies from her business, The Cookie Don — chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies!

     • Raffle to win a door prize!

            JP Centre/South Main Streets seeks to lift up businesses with positivity, love, inclusion, equity, and justice. The organization invites the entire Jamaica Plain community to support, to talk, to ask questions, to learn more, and to voice your opinions.
