From Boston To Glasgow, With Love

Mayor Michelle Wu joined Scottish fans at JP’s very own, The Haven, last Thursday, June 18, to sign a letter of intent with the Scottish city of Glasgow. The historic signing is the first step toward officially designating the two as sister cities next April.
The event took place at Boston’s only dedicated Scottish pub, which has served as the official headquarters for visiting “Tartan Army” throughout the 2026 World Cup.
Festivities at teh Haven have included packed match watch parties, traditional bagpipe performaces, record-breaking sales of Tennent’s Lager, and even a guest appearance by Governor Maura Healey pouring pints behind the bar.
