E-13 Police Capt. Kelley McCormick might be off work for a month in the near future, as he plans to donate a kidney to his ailing wife.

“I love my wife so much I’m giving her a kidney,” he said at the Jan. 25 meeting of the Hyde/Jackson Business Association.

McCormick was unable to comment further because exact schedules and plans have not been set.
