The scholarship came from Sun Life Financial, which also gave a $50,000 grant to HSTF. Sun Life’s Rising Star Awards program aims to fight low high-school graduation rates in urban school districts. Reyes was recognized especially for her working in forming the MBTA Youth Advisory Council.
