The Match Community Day School, currently at 86 Wachusett St., may have found its new home in Mattapan.
While a purchase and sale agreement has been signed, Match Chief Operating Officer Mike Larsson said, it does not mean the move is certain.
“It allows us to do our due diligence,” Larsson said. “Obviously, many different factors come into play.”
The elementary school opened in 2011 and has already moved buildings once before, from its first home at 215 Forest Hills St. to its current location, last summer. Larsson said that the school will remain on Wachusett Street for at least another year.
The potential site is located on Poydras Street, close to the Mattapan line. The current school building is owned by Bethel AME Church.
