A big thank-you to the Gazette for running the JP History section in your Jan. 19 issue. Jamaica Plain has such a rich and varied history—it is always wonderful for folks to be reminded of that.
We hope people whose interest was piqued by the articles on Pinebank and the items discovered in the Loring-Greenough House will spend some time at the Jamaica Plain Historical Society’s web site (cited as a source in your article, www.jphs.org) or attend any of our events, which are always free and open to the public. There are many ways to continue to learn more about JP’s unique and interesting history, and we encourage everyone to do so.
