Yoon lands federal job

Sam Yoon has left his executive director position at the National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations (NACEDA) in Washington, D.C. and accepted an appointment with the U.S. Department of Labor, according to Frank Woodruff, who took over Yoon’s position at NACEDA.

Yoon is a former Boston city councilor who ran a prominent but unsuccessful campaign against incumbent Thomas Menino for mayor in 2009. He claimed to be blackballed because of that and forced to relocate to D.C. to find a new job.
