A new sibling for the popular Delfino restaurant and a new owner for a well-liked cheese shop are among the coming-soon attractions in the local business district, according to Roslindale Village Main Street Executive Director Christina DiLisio
DiLisio said that Stephen Judge, who owns the popular Delfino Italian restaurant on South Street, is planning on opening another eatery along that street in June. She said Judge is still “hashing out the concept,” but plans to have a spot for light meals and cocktails with a rehabbed outdoor patio.
The Boston Cheese Cellar at 18 Birch St. will reopen with a “soft opening” under new owner Adam Shutes in the “coming weeks,” according to DiLisio. She said residents are “thrilled,” as the community was “devastated” when the business closed earlier in the year.
