PONDSIDE—Bank of America is considering replacing or repairing the chain-link fence around its Burroughs Street parking lot at the request of the Jamaica Pond Association (JPA).

The JPA reached out to the local bank branch at 677 Centre St. in recent months as it conducted interior renovations, according to JPA chair Jack Fay. The goal is a better design for the black-painted fence, which is about 10 feet high.

Bank of America has asked a contractor to pepare cost estimates of fence replacement or repair, according to spokesperson T.J. Crawford.
