City Councilor At-Large Michelle Wu will host a roundtable discussion with small business owners Thurs., May 1 at the Brendan Behan Pub in Hyde Square.
Wu invites local owners of small businesses to attend and discuss their experiences with the City’s licensing and permitting processes. Wu campaigned on making Boston more business-friendly. This is the last of several roundtables she has held in various neighborhoods.
The roundtable begins at 8 a.m. at the pub at 378 Centre St. Business owners are asked to RSVP with Henry Cohen at 617-635-3115 or [email protected].
Wu is also accepting comments on licensing and permitting at the same office number or at [email protected].
A hearing of the City Council’s Special Committee on Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation is slated on May 5 in Roxbury as part of the process.
