Dorchester graffiti artist Cedric Douglas works on a portrait of Celia Cruz, the late “Queen of Salsa,” on the Blessed Sacrament Church plaza in Hyde Square during JP Open Studios last weekend. Douglas created the portrait in collaboration with a Hyde Square Task Force youth project for Hispanic Heritage Month where they studied the famed salsa music singer.
