Lets raise money for the Bikes not Bombs Bike-A-Thon 2025
Dear Editor,
I’m participating in this year’s Bike-A-Thon 2025 to raise money for Bikes Not Bombs, an organization that has been using the bicycle as a vehicle for social change for 40 years!
This year I’m riding in memory of my best friend Jim Baker who passed away in January from prostate cancer. With the help of the thousands of bicycles they reclaim each year, Bikes Not Bombs provides skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation to underserved youth and adults in Boston and across the Global South. The need for this work has only increased in recent years, and since Bikes Not Bombs’ mission is so important to me, I’m working hard to support them. When I thought about people who would be willing to help me raise money, I thought of you. Would you be willing to donate to my ride? This Bike-A-Thon is Bikes Not Bombs biggest fundraiser each year.
