Whittier Street Health Center, a community health center with a mission to serve as a center of excellence that provides high quality and accessible health care and social services that achieve health equity, social justice, and the economic well-being of a diverse patient population, will host its 26th Annual Men’s Health Summit on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Whittier Street Health Center, Frederica M. Williams Building, 1290 Tremont Street, Roxbury.
The theme of this year’s Summit, “Closing the Gap: Better Health for Men and Boys,” reflects Whittier Street Health Center’s steadfast commitment to advancing health equity. The Summit seeks to bring greater attention to the unique health challenges faced by men and boys and encourage open conversation and the creation of pathways that promote healing, connection, and equitable access to care.
The free event will include a health fair, health screenings, lunch, and a formal program, including Boston City Councilor Enrique J. Pepén as keynote speaker. The Summit will also honor outstanding men’s health advocates during the award ceremony portion of the event, which in 2025 brought together over 300 men and their families to engage in dialogue, access resources, and strengthen community support.
