Ranya Al Tikriti Elected to Membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
Ranya Al Tikriti of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at MCPHS University.
Al Tikriti is among approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 under the leadership of undergraduate student Marcus L. Urann who had a desire to create a different kind of honor society: one that recognized excellence in all academic disciplines. Today, the Society has chapters on more than 300 campuses in the United States and its territories. Its mission is to "cultivate a community that celebrates and advances the love of learning."

Yovahny Alexander Gomez has been named to Clarkson University's Dean's List
Yovahny Alexander Gomez of Jamaica Plain a junior majoring in business analytics, was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester at Clarkson University.
Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

UW-MADISON ANNOUNCES FALL DEAN'S LIST
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.
