JP Open Studios is back for 2025! This annual event, a cornerstone of Jamaica Plain’s creative community, will be held on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Organized by the Jamaica Plain Arts Council, this free, community-centered weekend invites you to explore the neighborhood’s artistic spirit. More than 200 artists will showcase their creations at over 60 different locations, transforming artist studios, local businesses, and community hubs like Curtis Hall and the Loring Greenough House into a vibrant, walking art gallery.
From paintings and photography to ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture, you’ll find a wide range of artistic media on display. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the makers, discover a new favorite artist, and maybe even take home a unique piece.
To help you navigate the many sites, free maps will be available at local businesses throughout Jamaica Plain and at an information booth. For added convenience, you can also download a map online. The event is easily accessible via the MBTA’s Orange Line and various bus routes, making it simple to hop from one creative space to the next.
