The Jamaica Plain Artists Association (JPAA) is having its “Spring Members Show” currently in Eliot Hall at the Footlight Club through June 23. Jessica Burko of JPAA said that the exhibition features a wide variety of exhibits, including photography, painting, assembly, encaustic, and sculptures. “It’s the strongest group show in a long time,” said Burko. JPAA is a local group that anyone can join that promotes, exhibits, and supports art in the neighborhood, according to Burko. Pictured, are Burko’s “Once,” a mixed-media work with photography and encaustic on reclaimed wood, and a Richard Youngstrom mosaic.
