The staff and Friends of the Connolly Branch Library would like to thank all the volunteers, neighborhood businesses and organizations that helped make this summer’s reading program such a success.
One hundred children and adults attended our free programs which included moves, story times, crafts, puppet show, a petting zoo and more!
Special thanks goes to J.P. Licks for its donation of ice cream and ice cream coupons. Thanks also to Read Boston, Boston Nature Center, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, Wheelock Family Theatre and the Franklin Park Zoo for bringing free or very low cost educational and entertaining programs to the library.
