Memorial needed for victims of clergy sexual abuse

Regarding the article about St. Andrew’s Church becoming a landmark in the Sept. 21 JP Gazette, I think that there should be some sort of monument or memorial dedicated to the victims/survivors of clergy sexual victimization.

I am a victim of sexual assault by a Roman Catholic priest. I was forced into unspeakable perversions by this ordained sexual sadist inside the church itself and in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Because I know I was not the only child sexually assaulted inside a church, I have always hoped that some sort of plaque or memorial could be placed in remembrance of all those who lost their faith, innocence, hope and some, even their lives, to this monstrous worldwide sexual butchery of the children of the Roman Catholic Church. I do hope that such a memorial can be arranged. But, noting the continued conspiracy of deception and cover-ups by the Roman Catholic hierarchy, up to and including the pope in Rome, I doubt it will ever come about.
