A 29-year-old Jamaica Plain man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound on a Mattapan street May 2.
The Boston Police Department (BPD) identified the victim as Daron Lee Ellison.
He appears to be the same Daron Lee Ellison, of 277 Centre St. in Jackson Square’s Bromley-Heath housing development, who was arrested in April, 2007 on Columbus Avenue and charged with assault and battery, according to a BPD incident report.
