Most of them are owned by or affiliated with nonprofit organizations as well as state and city agencies, including: BNAN (Boston Natural Areas Network); BPRD (Boston Parks and Recreation Department); BUG (Boston Urban Gardeners); and DCR (Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation).
