Thanks to businesses for adult learner support

The Adult Learning Program of Jamaica Plain Community Centers would like to extend our deep thanks to the following businesses that donated to our student holiday party raffle: Harvest Co-op, Cristo Hair Design, Latino Beauty Salon, Los Bendecidos Restaurant, Ace Hardware, Gentle Dental, Centro Oasis de Vida, Sheraton Needham Hotel, Gadgets, Ultra Beauty Salon, Fresh Hair, Jeremy and Lee Haller and Linda Hamilton-Korey.

The Adult Learning Program offers English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Adult Basic Education and GED classes to over 300 adult learners per year. We are very grateful for the support of the JP business community as we work toward our goal: to help students attain the education, skills and self-confidence that will enable them to more fully participate in their communities and in the education of their children and that will further enhance opportunities for employment and personal development.
