Pet grooming comes to South St.

A new pet grooming service, Pups ‘n Paradise, has opened its doors at 142B South St.

First-time business owner Jeniffer Mitchell is no novice to cat and dog grooming, starting the trade at Norfolk County Agricultural High School while only 15.

“It seems like a very dog-friendly area,” Mitchell told the Gazette.

Mitchell is able and willing to provide her canine clientele with Mohawks and other unusual hairstyles.

“I’ve dyed my poodle like a panda before,” she said.

Paws Rule, the previous occupant of the space, is unaffiliated with Pups ‘n Paradise, though some of the same investors are involved with both ventures. Paws Rule was also Mitchell’s last employer.

“We’re all good friends,” Mitchell told the Gazette.

Pups ‘n Paradise is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and can be reached at 617-524-4041.
