Election Day is Nov. 8

JP residents will go to the polls Nov. 8 to elect four new At-Large City Councilors and new district councilors.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 pm. Voters who normally cast their ballots at Curtis Hall will once again be voting at the Agassiz School building at 20 Childs St. because Curtis Hall is still closed for renovations. To find out where your polling place is, visit cityofboston.gov/elections/voter/ or call 617-635-3767.

In Jamaica Plain, District 6 City Councilor Matt O’Malley is running unopposed for re-election, as is Mike Ross, whose District 8 covers a small part of Hyde Square. In District 7, which covers a small part of Egleston Square and Parkside, incumbent Tito Jackson faces challenger Sheneal Parker.

In the At-Large race, voters will be picking their top four choices of seven candidates: incumbents Felix Arroyo, John Connolly, Stephen Murphy and Ayanna Pressley; and challengers William Dorcena, Michael Flaherty and Sean Ryan.
