Whole Foods seeks 38 seats

HYDE SQ.—Whole Foods Market is seeking a license to add 38 seats—22 inside and 16 outside—to its 413 Centre St. location, according to the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council Public Service Committee.

The grocer needs a “7-day common victualler,” or restaurant, license to add the seating. It is seeking to operate the seating from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Whole Foods will present its proposal to the Public Service Committee at an April 3 meeting at the Chevrus Building.
