HYDE SQ.—A bike-riding robber stole a man’s cell phone and flashed a knife on Heath Street on March 23, according to the Boston Police Department, which released a description of the suspect.
The victim was walking his dog and talking on the phone in the area of 251 Heath St. around 4 p.m. when the suspect rode by on a mountain bike and grabbed the phone. When the victim gave chase, the suspect displayed a knife and fled onto Day Street.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male; 35-45 years old; medium complexion; 6 feet to 6-feet-2-inches tall; 220 to 240 pounds; wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. The bicycle was black or dark blue.
