Police seek Jackson Sq. T Station robbery suspect

JACKSON SQ.—MBTA Transit Police are seeking an armed robber who stole a passenger’s iPad computer at gunpoint inside the Jackson Square T Station on March 9.

The victim was robbed on the Orange Line platform around 12:50 p.m. The suspect fled in the direction of the Bromley-Heath housing development, according to Transit Police.

The Transit Police released blurry security video images of the suspect. He is described as black with a light complexion, 18 to 22 years old, medium build, hair in wide cornrows, slight facial hair, and an earring in his right ear. He was wearing gray stonewashed jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, a large white belt, and black sneakers with white soles and white markings or a white band.
