HYDE SQ.—The Jamaica Plain Block Party for Boston Pride Week will make its annual return to Perkins Street on Sun., June 9.
A celebration of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, Pride Week features dozens of events around town, including the downtown Pride Parade tomorrow, June 8.
Co-hosted by Dyke Night Productions, the Jamaica Plain Block Party is an all-ages, family friendly event with DJs, live music, food and vendors. It also will feature the “Divas and Dogs Drag Show and Adoption Event,” with celebrity drag queens and kings showcasing rescue dogs available for adoption.
The rain-or-shine party runs noon to 7 p.m. Admission is a $10 donation to Boston Pride. For more information, see bostonpride.org.
