Suspect sought in stabbing

The Boston Police Department (BPD) is seeking a suspect for a stabbing that took place Aug. 19 on Heath Street. BPD has released a video that appears to show the suspect chasing the victim after the stabbing.

According to BPD, the suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt, black baseball cap with a white emblem on the front, black sneakers and denim shorts.

On Aug. 19, officers responded around 9:20 p.m. to a report of a person stabbed at 9 Plant Court. Officers found a victim with multiple stab wounds who was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The initial incident allegedly occurred at 200 Heath St.

The video appears to show the suspect chasing the victim, before stopping and fleeing the area in the opposite direction. To watch the video, visit bpdnews.com.
