Governor hopefuls to speak at JP forum

Three Democratic hopefuls to win the Governor’s Office next year will answer questions at a Dec. 4 forum staged at Doyle’s Café by local progressive organizations.

Joe Avellone, Donald Berwick and Juliette Kayyem will appear separately at the forum, which is being held by JP Progressives and Jamaica Plain Forum.

The organizations were slated to hold a previous forum with Democratic candidates Martha Coakley, the current state attorney general, and Steven Grossman, the current state treasurer, on Nov. 20, after the Gazette’s deadline.

The Dec. 4 forum is slated for 5:45 to 9 p.m. at Doyle’s, 3484 Washington St. RSVPs are requested. For more information, see jpprogressives.com or email [email protected].
