Jamaica Plain’s resident rock star Rick Berlin is releasing his 14th album, “When We Were Kids,” on April 18.
Known for his songwriting, Berlin is currently playing with the Nickel and Dime Band. The new release includes an ode to JP, “I Love My Street.” It will be his first release on Teenage Hearts Records.
The release party will take place April 18 at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge and will include special guests Gary Cherone, Gordon Gane, Jane Mangini and fellow JP resident Ken Pope on the theremin.
