Police seek 3 in connection with Jackson Sq. body

JACKSON SQ.–Boston Police homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying three “persons of interest” in connection with a woman found dead near Urban Edge’s Webb Building last month.

An unidentified woman believed to be in her 40s was found dead July 13 in the area of 1542 Columbus Ave., on the Roxbury side of Jackson Square, according to the Boston Police Department (BPD). Her death has not been ruled a homicide at this point, but detectives are still investigating.

BPD today released photos, apparently taken by a building security camera, of three people wanted for questioning in relation to the death. They appear to be two young women and a young man. BPD says they are not suspects at this point.

Anyone who can identify anyone in the photos, or who has information about the woman’s death, can contact the BPD Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or anonymously by calling 1-800-494-8477 or by texting the word “TIP” to 27463.

For more photos and information, see the BPD announcement here.
