Fresh Truck expands from new JP home

A fresh market on wheels called Fresh Truck has moved to JP and is expanding its mission.

According to a newsletter sent out earlier this month, Fresh Truck, a converted school bus that brings fruits and vegetables to communities that would otherwise not have access to fresh foods, is looking to add a second bus to its fleet.

“With two buses on the road we will be able expand our operating capacity to keep serving our communities,” the newsletter reads.

The first Fresh Truck is expected to be repurposed to be an educational programming platform that can be customized for cooking demonstrations, nutrition consultations and community events.

Fresh Truck is now based out of Ashcroft Street. It was originally based put pf Mission Hill. It was co-founded by Northeastern graduate Josh Trautwein. Gazette calls to him were not returned.
