‘Missed Connections’ opera coming to Milky Way

If you’re a fan of Missed Connections and opera, the Milky Way and Opera on Tap have a show for you.

“Missed Connections,” a show that honors “the love stories that almost were,” based on popular online personals columns, will bring arias, songs, musical theater favorites and ensemble numbers to the Milky Way/Bella Luna at 284 Amory St. on Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge.

Part of the national network of Opera on Tap chapters, founded in New York City in 2005, Boston’s local leadership includes Kathryn McKellar, Abigail Krawson, Gina Razon and Ashley Rizzo Moss. The first Boston performance was at Jacob Wirth’s in 2011.
