Another week, another master plan from Mayor Walsh’s administration.
The “Boston Creates” arts and cultural “blueprint” sounds like another good big-picture approach from the new mayor.
And it is fitting that the process kicks off in JP, the home to a wealth of art galleries, creative youth programs, musicians of all types, historic resources, the country’s oldest community theater, and so on.
It is also fitting that the process will be held in a Boston public school, where arts programming must be boosted.
We encourage everyone with an interest in local arts and culture to participate and look forward to the results.
