Local City Councilor Matt O’Malley is bringing his “Office Hours on the Run”—an unusual event where he jogs with constituents while hearing their concerns—to Jamaica Plain once again on June 27.
An avid runner, O’Malley pioneered the running office hours in 2012.
The latest edition is in conjunction with JP’s Forest Hills Running Club. It will be held on Sat., June 27, 9 a.m., starting in the Southwest Corridor Park across from the Stony Brook T Station.
“Jamaica Plain is one of my favorite places to run,” O’Malley said in a press release. “It’s even better when I am joined by neighbors who care about the community. I hope residents will join me and show me the potholes, the sidewalks that need repair, and the traffic trouble spots.”
