Three men were shot, including two fatally, in Egleston Square on Aug. 12, according to bpdnews.com. The incident was part of a spate of violence that left five dead in one night in the Boston area.
According to bpdnews.com, Boston Police Department (BPD) officers responded to a radio call of shots fired in the area of 12 Ernst St., which is on the border of Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. They found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. The two victims were transported to local hospitals, where they died. They have been identified as 28-year-old Andrew Reed and 20-year-old Angel Oller, both Boston residents.
A third male gunshot victim contacted authorities three hours later in the area of 70 Bragdon St. and was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
