The debate over whether the 35 S. Huntington Ave. project falls within Jamaica Plain or Mission Hill is asinine. The project is on the border and both neighborhoods should be able to give input on it—that includes the local councils and associations that represent them.
The Boston Redevelopment Authority has recently commenced a concerted effort to be a more transparent agency that respects the civic process. To fast track a project and not let the proper groups vet it would tarnish the image that the BRA is attempting to project.
