Developer Stephen Ballas will present plans for a six-unit building on the former James’s Gate parking lot site at 14-16 McBride St. to the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council’s Zoning Committee.
Ballas bought the property, along with James’s Gate across the street, this spring. It is unclear what Ballas intends to do with James’s Gate, a local favorite Irish bar that closed last year.
The 14-16 McBride St. proposal is for a 9,463-square-foot building with six units, a roof deck, and parking garage.
The Zoning Committee meeting will be June 15 at the Farnsworth House, starting at 7 p.m.
