BPD seeks suspect in sexual assault

The Boston Police Department (BPD) is seeking a suspect wanted for a sexual assault that happened on Sept. 29 near Gay Head Street and Minden Street, according to bpdnews.com.

Police officers responded to Gay Head Street and Minden Street around 1:41 a.m. on Sept. 29 to a report of a sexual assault. Officers spoke to the victim who said she was on Gay Head Street when a suspect approached her and displayed a gun. The suspect demanded her cell phone and instructed the victim to walk with him into a backyard. The victim said she was sexually assaulted there.

She describe her attacker as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male with light-colored eyes, with a mask pulled up over his nose, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front and black jeans. She said she last saw him running down Arklow Street towards Walden Street.
