Scenes from Argentine-born and Dorchester-living artist Nora Valdez’ visual art exhibit called “Immigration Nation: A Community Art Project,” which is being shown at the Urbano Project at 29 Germania St. The exhibit, which is funded by the New England Foundation for the Arts and runs until July 29, features hundreds of suitcases and portraits made by immigrants telling their story. Valdez said that she wanted to do the exhibit to “make a point that we are all immigrants.” She added, “We shouldn’t be afraid or hide.
