Christine Cooper’s siblings Bill Cooper, Gerry Donlan, Theresa Vino, and Patrick Cooper. The celebration of the Jamaica Pond Pathways rehabilitation project also featured a tribute to the late community advocate, Christine Cooper. The boathouse at the Pond was named in her honor by Mayor Martin Walsh. The overall improvements to Jamaica Pond include increased accessibility, new benches, newly planted trees, exercise equipment, upgrades to pathways and entrances, and improved drainage to project water quality.
