Book Talk: Moxie This book chronicles Moxie’s rich history. Moxie’s World Headquarters (Moxieland) was located in Jamaica Plain (at 79 Heath Street) from 1928 to 1953. Sunday, December 8, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street. Sponsored by the Jamaica Plain Historical Society.
JP Toastmasters meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at The Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain. The meeting will feature free food and drinks, introductions, and opportunities to practice speaking. As always, meetings are free for guests.
