The 2023 Holiday Light Show at First Baptist Church is going on now through January 6, 2024. This captivating spectacle will grace our evenings, operating between 5 p.m and 8:45 p.m., with a brief countdown every thirty minutes between shows.
The Jamaica Plain Holiday Light Show holds the distinction of being the sole grand-scale laser light show in Boston during the festive holiday season. It takes center stage by illuminating the steeple of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, projecting its enchanting display several stories high. Over the years, it has evolved into a cherished tradition in JP, and for the very first time, it will feature musical accompaniments. Viewers can tune into the accompanying music using their smartphone. Scan the provided QR code on site and enjoy a synchronized listening and viewing experience.
This remarkable show is the brainchild of artist Diego Delmar, running for eight minutes. It pays homage to the spirit of giving observed in diverse cultures and the essence of the winter season.
