Clarke Named to SNHU Dean’s List
Camille Clarke of Jamaica Plain has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Summer 2025 Dean’s List. The summer terms run from May to August.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean’s List Honors for Spring 2025 Semester
The following students are named to Emerson College’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To make the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Olivia Hall Named to the Dean’s List at Bates College
Lewiston, ME (06/25/2025)– Olivia Hall of Boston, Mass. , was named to the Dean’s List at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2025. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher.
Hall is majoring in Mathematics and Hispanic Studies and minoring in History at Bates.

Medford, MA (07/09/2025)– Tufts University awarded more than 2,800 degrees across all schools during its ceremony commemorating the accomplishments of the Class of 2025.

Local Student Named to St. Lawrence University’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List
Canton, NY (07/02/2025)– Misha Ockene from Jamaica Plain has been named to St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for achieving academic excellence during the Spring 2025 semester.
Ockene is a member of the Class of 2025 and is majoring in performance and communication arts and Hispanic studies. Ockene attended Brookline High School.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Hall graduates from Bates College
Olivia Hall of Jamaica Plain. graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a major in Mathematics and Hispanic Studies and minioring in History.
Hall was also granted the Bates Senior Scholar Award, an honor bestowed upon graduating seniors who have participated in varsity sports for four years and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above.
At its 159th Commencement on May 25, 2025, Bates College celebrated 504 members of its Class of 2025.
President Garry W. Jenkins called on the new graduates, who came from 38 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and 31 countries, to be ambassadors for Bates and for higher education. “Tell the story of how and why Bates matters,” Jenkins said. “Tell the stories of other colleges and universities that are important in your life. Talk about the doors that have been opened by this kind of higher education. Share with others the excellence that lives in these places.”
