JP’s Drawdown Brewing Co., to join Mass Beer Week Finale

Drawdown Brewing Co., the woman-owned, LBTGQ+ owned brewery in Egleston Square, will participate in the Mass Brewers Guild’s Brunch with the Brewers event on March 15.

Founded by Liz Nicol, Drawdown has quickly become one of Boston’s most welcoming and inclusive gathering spaces — a taproom where everyone belongs and where women’s sports take center stage. Already racking up accolades, Drawdown was dubbed one of the best places to watch women’s sports by Boston Magazine and earned “Best of the Best – Breweries” honors from The Boston Globe. Nicol herself was also named VinePair’s “Next Wave – Brewer of the Year,” further cementing Drawdown’s growing impact. With a strong emphasis on women’s athletics, LGBTQ+ programming, and community-driven events, Drawdown continues to create a space where fans can come together to cheer, connect, and celebrate

“Drawdown Brewing Co. represents innovation not just in beer, but in how breweries serve their communities,” said Katie Stinchon. “They’ve created a space unlike any other in Boston and we are excited to feature their incredible beer as a part of this lineup.”

Attendees will enjoy two guided tasting flights featuring beers from Drawdown Brewing Co. and fellow participants Antimony Brewing (Lenox), Arlington Brewing Co., (Arlington), Clover Road Brewing Co., (Hudson & Ashland), Epigram Brewing Co. (Tyngsboro), Forty Second Brew Co., (Kingston) Murder Hill Brewing Co. (Whitinsville), and Seven Railroads Brewing Co. (Palmer).

Hosted by the Mass Brewers Guild in partnership with City Tap House, the event brings together eight of Massachusetts’ newest breweries — all three years old or younger — for a celebratory afternoon of curated tastings, storytelling, and community connection. Attendees will hear how each brewery launched their business, what inspires their recipes, and what it takes to open and grow a brewery in Massachusetts.

Guests will also receive a full-pour collaboration beer brewed exclusively for the event and served in limited-edition Mass Beer Week glassware, plus access to an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet.

Mass Beer Week, held annually beginning the first Saturday in March, celebrates the small, independent breweries that lift up their communities — creating local jobs, partnering with nearby businesses, and providing welcoming spaces where neighbors gather and connect.

Tickets are $65 and limited. For more information: massbrewersguild.org/brunch-with-the-brewers Event Details: Sunday, March 15 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. City Tap House | 10 Boston Wharf Rd., Boston.
