Red Bull Cliff Diving Returns to Boston

      The highly anticipated 2025 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will make its triumphant return to Boston Harbor on September 19 and 20, 2025. This will be the only stop in the United States and the final event of the series, where the men’s and women’s champions will be crowned. The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Boston, 25 Harbor Shore Dr.

      The winners of the coveted King Kahekili Trophy will be announced on US soil for the first time since 2010. Divers will launch from platforms as high as 27m (88.5ft) for men and 21m (69ft) for women, entering the water at speeds of over 50 mph. The ICA Boston’s rooftop will be transformed into a world-class diving platform for the event.

      The schedule for the two-day event is as follows. On Friday, Sept. 19, warm-up dives begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by competition rounds for both women and men. On Saturday, Sept. 20, warm-up dives begin at 9:30 a.m. with competition rounds leading into the Women’s Final at 11:35 a.m. and the Men’s Final at 12:20 p.m. The awards ceremonies, where the 2025 World Champions will be crowned, will take place at 1:00 p.m.

      1:00 p.m. | Awards Ceremonies: 2025 World Champions Crowned

                 Divers to watch include Team USA’s James Lichtenstein and Kaylea Arnett, as well as international champions like Rhiannan Iffland (AUS) and fan favorite Molly Carlson (CAN). This event is significant because Boston is the final battleground of the 2025 season and marks the return of the King Kahekili Trophy to the U.S. for the first time in 15 years
